Hotel Guri is absolutely superb, and this is primarily down to the owner who makes you feel so welcome, and prepares the best dinner and breakfasts that I had over the 11 nights I was trekking in the Accursed mountains. The highlight was a wood fired oven fish dish that she prepared for my second night where I was the sole guest. Eating out on a covered balcony for both breakfasts and dinner with a lovely view right down the Ropojana valley due to its location towards the top of Vusinje village. I was actually quite sad to leave as I felt so at home.

We came super late (we climbed to Zla Kolata) and they wasn’t mad. She even made us a dinner. It was the best soup and chicken with potatoes I ever had. And the breakfast was also delicious. All the family was super nice.
