They have created such cozy spaces for guests and the provide great amenities like coffee and tea, toast and other small breakfast items. I appreciated the small fridge in the room, pressure in the shower and how quiet it was at night. I also walked to town and it was easy and fun. There’s a lot to do in this part of the world! Welcome sign on arrival, let us know as soon as the room was ready and had a cake for us on arrival and fresh milk for a cup of tea! The bed was really comfy as well

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. This place is wonderful - a destination in itself. Excellent hosts, excellent accommodations, excellent views. A historic house that you would not want to miss! We had dinner there and it was delicious. Well worth the short drive from Blenheim, you won't find better than this, it is a great value. Hope to be back again in the future!

The guest house provides mountain views, a picnic area and a 24-hour front desk. Beautiful, peaceful, idyllic location right by the water at Queen Charlotte Sound. We enjoyed walking the last leg of the famous Queen Charlotte track, which was a wonderful, relatively easy track offering superb views. Jumped off the jetty for a swim in the sound and within 2 mins having a hot shower at the apartment. Tanya and Shayne could not have made us more welcome. They clearly enjoy sharing their piece of paradise, and their enthusiasm is addictive. Very comfortable bed, great shower, well equipped kitchen, peaceful sleep. Don't hesitate to book and stay as long as you possibly can. You won't regret it! We've stayed in some gorgeous places in the South Island and this one was our favourite.
