Vila Nova Milfontes is a lovely little seaside town and we’re glad we found this wonderful B&B which is just a few steps away from cafes, shops and restaurants. Room is simple and great value for money. Parking is free and easy, just outside the B&B. The beach is about 10mins walk away and the lighthouse (great place for sunset) another 15mins.

It’s like an eagle’s nest with 360° panoramic view over Algarve hills. And the location is so quiet. Our hosts extended great hospitality, and they walked the extra mile to make us feel at home. They even met and greeted us on the main road and showed us the way to their property. This is first class service. Superb breakfast with delicious homemade croissants.

Comfortable rooms in a really cool old home. We loved all the shared spaces. The young man who checked us in and made our breakfast was so thoughtful and kind in spite of our knowing extremely limited Portuguese. It was a short walk to the castle from the hotel. The streets are crazy up and down but so much fun to see.
