I appreciated the location being a short drive outside the city center but close enough to enjoy all that Coimbra has to offer. Edgar was so kind, extremely helpful and really made my stay special. The renovation of the family home is very stylish while remaining respectful of the home’s history. The attention to detail in my room and throughout the home is one of the best I’ve seen. Don’t forget to look up and admire the detail of the ceilings! The breakfast was always fresh, delicious and plentiful. I especially loved the fresh farm eggs made to order as well as the orange juice squeezed from their groves out back and the fresh baked cakes. I highly recommend Oryza for your Coimbra stay and cannot wait to visit again.
