Our stay at Olamanga Beach Villas in Zanzibar was truly unforgettable. The property is stunning, exuding authenticity and offering a serene, retreat-like atmosphere—an ideal spot for relaxation. The breakfast was exceptional, with eggs, toast, an array of fresh fruits, and incredible smoothies, making it the perfect start to each day. Lee and Raluu are outstanding hosts who go above and beyond to ensure a great experience. The trips we booked through them were fantastic and trustworthy. We can't recommend this place highly enough and will definitely return!

The units at the inn are fitted with a seating area. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and free toiletries, some units at Chokoro House also feature a terrace. All rooms will provide guests with a fridge. If you are going to Paje, don't look any further. This place si nice, calm with delicious breakfast and swimming pool. Location is just perfect, close to the beach and the main road but absolutely best are the owners. Amazing, friendly, kind couple, they really take cafe of their guests. We felt like at home, Thank you!!

The air-conditioned guest house consists of 1 separate bedroom, 1 bathroom with a hair dryer, and a seating area. Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area. The guest house offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. Breakfast was great! There were 3 options for breakfast and the portions are good. Next to every option there is a fresh fruit and fresh juice included.

At the guest house, units have a outdoor furniture. Each unit is equipped with a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, while some rooms are equipped with a terrace and others also offer sea views. At the guest house, all units are soundproof. Everything. Mama Root has a wonderful set up that is perfect for relaxing and unwinding in the small village of Kizimkazi. The staff are all incredibly helpful and kind. The view is unparalleled. The meals were nourishing and delicious.

Set in Jambiani, a few steps from Paje Beach, Mango Beach House offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, room service and a tour desk, along with free WiFi. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. The location is superb, being right by the white, sandy beach. The staff offered us sailing and fishing trips in traditional dhows, right from the Mango Beach House. Easy access to the village as well.

Surrounded by banana trees, guests can enjoy a meal at the garden restaurant and a fresh fruit juice or cocktail at the bar. Free WiFi is available. A hidden gem in Jambiani Beach. For us, the decision on where to spend our 4 days in Jambiani was between three different hotels. I am so glad we decided to stay at Zanzistar Lodge. This was also by far the cheapest out of the three options. The value for money can´t be beaten. We especially enjoyed the outside hammocks, the beach, the breakfast, the staff, the drinks and the cozy banana garden. Peter, one of the two managers, personally showed us every room. The luggage was taken care of by the staff and we even were invited to a welcome drink as we arrived. The beach bar has excellent food, great drinks and a perfect beach vibe. The beach was our favorite of all the beaches on the island. We went to Matemwe, Nungwi, Kendwa and Kizimkazi, but Jambiani was by far our favorite. The numerous colors of green and blue in the ocean is just spectacular. Thank you to all the staff that went out of their way to make us feel at home and took care of all of our needs. Take good care of them, as it is the people that make places like Zanzistar Lodge worth every penny. For us, we personally enjoy the small boutique hotels over the big resorts. The hospitality here was nothing else than outstanding. We hope to be back sometime in the near future.

Each room here will provide you with air conditioning and a terrace. Private bathroom also comes with a shower. The hosts, the food and the service were exceptional. Helwas is a small family hotel with a great, friendly atmosphere and top accommodation. We were group of 5 and we had amazing time at Helwas! Guesthouse No. 1 has five different rooms and one apartment in various categories, ideal for singles, couples, and backpackers. Great place to stay, steps from the beach and several restaurants and kite/snorkeling centers. Amina and Issa were very attentive and super friendly. The breakfast was excellent.

Colin, who will take great care of you during your stay, knows exactly how to help you avoid tourist traps and get the best experiences at the right price. He’ll guide you with honesty, give you valuable advice, and make sure everything runs smoothly. His help is truly invaluable. He also checks the weather conditions beforehand to ensure it’s safe to go out on the ocean your safety always comes first. They’ll also recommend restaurants that suit your budget and even give you the chance to experience authentic local spots for a real taste of the island. We absolutely loved it.
