I loved everything about this great little house! We had the place all to ourselves, and accessing the property was done via door code that was sent to us in advance of our arrival via email. Although we never met our hosts in person, they were very nice to deal with through the whole process before and after our stay. The facilities for a "cottage" are great (spacious bathroom with good shower water pressure and temperature, spacious eat-in kitchen, propane BBQ on back deck). There were also cool little features like white noise devices in the bedrooms to help you sleep. The location is great, too, as we walked into town each morning via a pedestrian footbridge and path. I hope to come back and stay here again!

I had a great time staying here. The host was really nice and helpful, and the place was really lovely! We enjoyed using the firepit and we loved the tiny house, everything made it a cherished memory for us! Would definitely recommend this place to others!

Well, it's a small town so everything is within walking distance. But the house itself was very clean, the mattress was firm, the pillow soft and the ease of communication was excellent, and the value was definitely there. Thank you!

Lake was beautiful, cottage lovely and all newly done up. Wish we had more time to stay and enjoy it all. The outside space was very nice, lots of places to sit and enjoy the view, fireplace, company.

The house was really great. It is located just on the edge of a park and on the York river. Beutifull view. Very wuit location. We used the kitchen a lot - stoves, oven, dishwasher and barbique. All were extremely conviniant. It is also within walking distance from several shops and restaurants.

The location was absolutely stunning! The cleanliness was above and beyond!!!... And that there was free Wifi Laundry on site, and we could watch anything on TV Oh did I mention that it was absolutely stunning! We will be staying with you again! Fantastic location, right on the lake and so quiet. After visiting Toronto and Montreal we needed some down time and this place was just what we wanted. Sitting on the jetty at night looking at the Milky Way and drinking around the fire pit with my family are things that will stay with me for a long time. The cabin is about 25 mins outside of the little town of Bancroft which was lovely, great brewery/beers, and has a big Foodland store to get your BBQ stuff to use back at the property. There was a canoe and 2 paddle boards to take out on the lake and although the water was quite cold it was clean and safe to swim in. The cabin was very functional and quite small but it was perfect for our needs and to be honest we didn't spend much time inside the property, we were outside from sun up and well into the night enjoying the great outdoors. There is no AC, there are ceiling fans in some of the rooms, but it didn't feel too hot inside the cabin probably because of its proximity to the lake and the woods around it.
