This is trully a fantastic place to stay! The views can’t be compared to anything else. The house itself was really clean and well equipped. The host is very responsive and kind. Be aware that the island is pretty isolated, there are for example no regular shops, so don’t forget to get groceries in advance. I also recommend booking ferry both ways to be sure, there’s enough space for your car.

We really enjoyed our stay in Martins cottage! The house is cozy, warm, well equipped and spacious enough for a group of 6 . Moreover it has amazing views from the windows. It was very nice to fall asleep listening to the sounds of waves. We also liked the location! Very good for sightseeing. There are also nice walking trails near the cottage.

The house seems small, but inside is absolutely perfect, cosy and spacious - kitchen, and very nice living room in the ground floor, two bedrooms and bathroom in the first floor. Clean bedwash and all spaces. When is cold day and rain (on Faroe islands it can be every day:-)), heating is shortly in process. The house is in central position - few metres from bus station, ferry and supermarket. View to the harbor. Easy communication with helpful owner - thank you Jan and your mother.

This cute little house was a great base for us to explore the northern islands. It had excellent heating, a nice living space and a good price. The swimming pool was very close as were two very small playgrounds. The parking was right in front of the house. Note - google directions take you to the wrong house number but the right street.
