The three of us were guests for two nights during our stopover on our journey home from Wales to Germany. We were warmly welcomed by John and were able to relax and rest well before continuing our journey home. John and his family were super friendly and the log cabin was cosily furnished. On the second evening we also had a cloudless sky and were able to watch the stars. The location is great: very quiet and you feel very close to nature. We will definitely be back. The house is in a perfect location for visiting Canterbury, with the centre and all the tourist attractions within a short walk. It is beautifully furnished and decorated and the owners have thought of everything you could need. There is a small supermarket just around the corner and a some great cafes and restaurants. Our hosts Tim and Dee were lovely. The hot tub was fab. The cosy nature of the cottage was exactly what I wanted. The towels and robes were provided and ample. The wine and cake for us upon arrival was a thoughtful touch.
