Location and accommodation were really good. The place is a short stroll away from the beach. Rooms were cool to facilitate a good nights sleep. The private pool is awesome, especially for our 2 year old. The staff was very welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we have a nice time. The bar at the front serves delicious drinks, cocktails and food.

This place was perfect in every way. For a solo traveller who prefers some independence and doesn’t need the attention of hotel staff several times a day, this accommodation is hard to fault. The room was perfect, clean, and well appointed, staff were friendly and attentive when requesting some help and I had a minor maintenance issue resolved immediately. Pool area was lovely and clean.

We are a family of 2 (a 6-year old and a 10-month old baby) and stayed in a bungalow. First of all, I have to say I have never felt like home at a hotel the way I did at Katala. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. We wanted to stay for 8 nights and ended up staying for 2 weeks. Absolutely beautiful home with a pool and view. We only used one of the three houses on the property, so the pool area is shared with others. We had massages outside which was great. Home was nice enough to not have to leave! It felt like a retreat and we loved just spending two days relaxing here.

Lovely stay in Sanur at Bali Emerald Villas. We had our own private pool and it was glorious. Rooms were big and very clean. Not new fit out, but very acceptable. Lovely and helpful staff and good security. Fantastic location, minutes to main drag and a few minutes more down to the beach. Staff went beyond call of duty to help out on one occasion. Would stay again.
