Our stay was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. The reception area, where we met our wonderful host, was stunning, setting the tone for our experience. We were greeted with tea and snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch. The hospitality continued as we were kindly driven to our house, which surpassed all our expectations. It was the quintessential traditional Japanese experience, blending authenticity with comfort. Every detail was perfect—from the delicious breakfast delivered to our door each morning to the serene outdoor tub, the plush and cozy beds, and the exquisite Japanese décor. Everything. Seriously, everything! The house is absolutely beautiful. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. And it was spotless — perfectly clean. We loved every detail. The rooms are spacious and bright. Every little thing in the kitchen and bathroom has been thoughtfully considered. The location is amazing — just a short walk from the old town. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Takayama. Honestly, I’d come back to Takayama just to stay here again!

it's a newly renovated town house, very nicely decorated. all facilities worked well, esp. the floor heating and sauna were so much needed after a long walk in the snow. around the house there are CVS, beef shop and other groceries. worth a walk around

The owner was super responsive. I have absolutely zero complaints about the accommodation. Spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The location was perfect for walks into the old town, Miyagawa morning market, Takayama Jinya etc. The owner also operates a coin laundry just next door. With state of the art washing machines, it was super convenient.
