We had great weather so we ate out front and people-watched which was fun - for us and, seemingly, the locals.

The garden room was everything we expected and more. Cosy, comfy, spotlessly clean and well equipped kitchen. Milk, tea, coffee, salt and pepper provided. Very comfortable bed and high quality bedlinen and towels. Loved the decor.

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can use the sauna and the hot tub, or enjoy garden views. The entire property was lovely, quiet and relaxing. The views were beautiful. Both the sauna and hot tub were of high quality. The property was also within 20mins of various farm shops and attractions. The host was very welcoming and attentive. We received a very detailed welcome pack with map pins for local points of interest and farm shops.

Tucked away in the little village of dinas mawddwy. We were greeted by the host as I couldn't find the property, even with her directions. Were shown around their property, and left to enjoy our stay. Although I had no children with me on this occasion, the bedroom with the bunk beds was well equipped to keep kids entertained with beautiful classic books, Lego and puzzles

The Y-Star is well located for travelers on the Glyndwr’s Way, and Richard and Nadine are excellent hosts. They proactively communicated with me the whole time. They have done a lot as the new owners to make this a great stay. Great internet, good food, comfortable rooms with excellent bathrooms.

Everything brand new and pristine. As if the Owner refurbished it for themselves. Nice design. Warm and cosy. Everything we weary travellers needed! And, a bonus there: a shelf filled with maps, guide Books and ideas what to do and where to go! Bed comfy, bedlinen and towels as in best Hotels. Shower felt luxurious, plenty of hot water. Easy to heat up the lounge area with a little electric fire, important on wet days! Top tip: BlackLion neighbouring pub has delicious food and great atmosphere, good for dinner. Go and find out, worth it.

At the holiday home, all units are fitted with a private bathroom and bed linen. We absolutely loved Alltybrain and our host, Rose, was wonderful. The house, gardens, land, location, all fantastic. Rose is incredible. Honey from her own bees, homemade marmalade, rhubarb from her fabulous plot, and the gardens are magnificent. We are DEFINITELY coming back!

The location was absolutely fantastic - so easy to reach pretty much anywhere else in the town. Very handy to have the Spar next door. It was very quiet despite being on one of the main roads. In terms of the place itself - it was so clean and well appointed. It had basically anything we could need, including very thoughtful extras like local milk and bread.
