This is a great place for a couple who want to chill out or use it as a base to explore Ireland. The host really made us comfortable without intruding and we had everything and more that we needed. Simple things like condiments, bathroom basics and logs for the fire - all really useful things. We liked the isolated location and the log fire as well. It's basically a studio bungalow, for want of a better description - so perfect for a couple.

The old stone building has been renovated into a comfortable and functional cottage while still maintaining many of the original features. The beds were very comfortable, the cottage was cosy and warm, and the kitchen was fully equipped. Our lovely hosts left fresh milk and eggs which were perfect for breakfast.
