The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of the main area. It’s only a 2-minute walk to Alaqer Wall and about 7 minutes to Nizwa Fort. There are plenty of cafés nearby and even a small supermarket just around the corner, which was very convenient. We received a thoughtful little gift after check-out, which made our experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this place for families or groups—it’s the perfect spot to relax, feel at home, and enjoy exploring Nizwa to the fullest.

My recent stay at Canyon Guest House in Jabal Shams was nothing short of fantastic. Having previously visited Jabal Shams and stayed elsewhere, I was eager to try this highly-rated option, and it exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect for exploring the area. It's conveniently situated, making it easy to access the various hiking trails and viewpoints that Jabal Shams has to offer. Being close to Al Hamra Village is also a plus for picking up any necessities. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a welcome respite after a day of hiking. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, which is essential when you're tackling the mountain trails. While I didn't use all the facilities, the guesthouse offered a range of amenities that added to the overall experience. Mr. Ahmed Al Khatri makes sure everything went perfect for us ❤️ The host Roshan was extremely supportive. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. When we arrived at the property the owner was already waiting for us with the keys. He was very welcoming and helped us with our luggage. Asked us how much water needs to be filled in the swimming pool so that the kids are comfortable. The property was so green, mango trees were filled with ripe mangoes, banana trees, date trees and to add it up it was raining which made it more magical. The property was clean, impeccable and the fridge had mangoes and dates for us. Even the kitchen is filled with utensils so for a family you are not far away from your home

A recently renovated holiday home set in Al Ḩamrāʼ, Nature House features a garden. The property has garden and inner courtyard views, and is 43 km from Nizwa Fort. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. - charming garden for relaxation with many seating options - clean rooms with comfortable beds - enough hot water with good strong flow - no light smog, no wifi We enjoyed simple but very comfortable and functional accommodation. We were enchanted by the beautiful garden around the house, where we relaxed in our free time. The adults enjoyed the peace and energy of the place, the children the swings, the hammock and the visit of the cat lady. I can imagine to spend here more than two days!
