We booked this one in the middle of June and I was worried about the weather if it's too humid and warm so I chose this hotel for the swimming pool. The pool was very nice and didn't have many people. The room itself was also very nice and amenities were also very convenient and eco-friendly. We had breakfast both on the rooftop and on the ground floor buffet, and I recommend the rooftop.
The room was big and suited us a family. Lots of food choices if you wanted them. Little shuttle bus to take you the station saved our tired legs. Swimming pool was lovely. Didn’t mind paying the additional fee but it could have had longer opening hours.
Very Japanese home-style design with door in shower, instead of curtain. Has plenty of entertainment and communal spaces with seating areas, books and even short films! Definitely nice to hang out and relax in both your room or communal area. Excellent location, 8-10 minutes walk from Kyoto Station.
We don’t often stay in ‘nice hotels’ so this was such a treat. The service is truly 5 stars. The hotel itself feels very luxurious through every touch. It was nice to have the swimming pool as being Summer and Aussies, we had missed being able to have a splash. Tattoos needed to be covered up, but it was open all day without reservations which was great compared to other hotels. Our view overlooked a Temple, the Kyoto Tower and some mountains. Room was spacious. Location good, close enough walk to Kyoto station. We didn’t dine onsite.
I liked that it had 3 rooms and my family could be together under one roof instead of booking 3 hotel rooms for this family holiday. The file that the host provided was very useful to run us through the various home appliances that were in Japanese.
The location of the hotel is amazing, in the middle of the entertainment and shopping area of Kyoto. The hotel is designed and unique. The rooms are small but beautifully decorated. The shower is great.
Comfortable Room size Friendly faces upon arrival Swimming pool Room value pretty good given facilities
Location to train station, food and entertainment
This was the best hotel regarding location I had in Japan. The street is very busy with many options to eat, and entertainment. Don't worry about noisy. Even though it's busy I slept without a problem.
Speedy check-in, reasonably good soundproofing, nice design/decor Water dispenser and the refillable plastic bottle is an excellent idea!!! Swimming pool was amazing
