During my recent stay, Fannie at the front desk truly made my experience exceptional. From the moment I checked in, her warm smile and attentive demeanor put me at ease. When she learned it was a special occasion for me, Fannie kindly offered an upgrade to a luxurious suite at no extra charge. The suite was spacious, beautifully appointed, and had stunning views, which far exceeded my expectations. Overall, a nice hotel with a modern interior, very, very clean, and excellent service (including English-speaking staff). Fresh water was delivered to the room every day. We arrived earlier than expected, but the room was already available, and we were able to check in immediately without any hassle. Breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of both Chinese and European cuisine. There were plenty of options, and the food was very tasty and of high quality. Many dishes were freshly prepared in front of you (I never got bored with the fresh omelettes). There was also an abundance of vegetables and fruits—the watermelon was a daily must-have for the children. The pictures provided were truly representative, and there were no unpleasant surprises upon arrival. The rooms are spacious; we stayed in a standard room with two adults and two children, and it was comfortable. A couple staying in the same room would have plenty of space. The bathroom setup was particularly nice, with a separate toilet and a very large shower. I especially liked how the shower floor was designed—every hotel should adopt this feature. The location is within walking distance of the metro and railway station, yet you don’t feel like you’re near a station. There was absolutely no noise from the surroundings. According to other guests’ demography, this is a truly family- and children-friendly hotel.

Our stay was made even better by the customer service we received from Cece. She made us feel welcome from the first minute. She spoke great English and guided us around the area to find food, groceries and even baby essentials as we were travelling with our 1 year old. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was delightful and overall we had a fantastic stay. Thank you Cece for making our stay extra special!

First of all, the satisfaction level for the price was very high. 1. All staffs are very kind. And I could communicate with front staff without any problems. 2. Room is very clean and I could stay & sleep very well in room. 3. Breakfast is also very satisfied for Korean. 4. My wife really liked to use a washing machine for free. 5. Near hotel, there is just an office building. Not apartment. So it's very silent to stay quietly.

    My experience of stay in Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Putuo from 8 to 11 July 24 was excellent. It's location and services were very well. Just 5 minutes from Longde Metro station make it very nice place. Breakfast buffet was very good with variety of choices. I had twin bed room facing Sozhu creek was very comfortable with excellent outside view, I really enjoyed my stay there. Thanks to all at service in Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Putuo.

    I visited Holiday Inn, Shanghai Nanjing Road in April and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very helpful and took care of all our needs. Mr Sameer Khan at the restaurant was especially great! Will visit again!

    nothing window didnt cose so smelt aircraft fumes till we were dizzy and pasted out, food was unacceptable generally inedible, went out for far better options dissapointed since it had a holiday inn branding
