Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sion by IHG has a fitness centre, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Sion. Among the facilities at this property are a concierge service and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The property is allergy-free and is set 1.8 km from Sion. I stayed for two nights. The room was clean and the breakfast was delicious. I'm very grateful to the staff for their kind advice over the phone when my rental car tire got a flat and I was unable to drive. I look forward to using their services again when I visit Sion again.

We booked this hotel because we had already stayed in a Holiday Inn in London and was very pleased with my stay. This hotel was very close to the Altstadt (around 15-20 minutes by feet) and had a lot of supermarkets nearby which made the stay easier.

It is a holiday inn run by a friendly couple, located in a picturesque area by the lake. The rooms are quite small, but it was fine because we went there to enjoy the view of the nature and spent most of our time outside. The inn is located right next to a ferry station and a train station, so you can get to the town Hallstatt easily by boat or by train. We went there by car, and it was only a few minute drive.

Well situated and quiet enough. The staff accommodated us with a request for an early breakfast. The rooms are standard ‘Holiday Inn’ type rooms but fair for Swiss prices. The bar situated at ground level is a nice touch if you need a quick drink. The hotel also offer ice from a machine and disposable cutlery if you want to eat i. Your room.

This very comfortable hotel is located right next to the train station and by the departure point for buses into the Old Town. Rooms are spacious and very clean. They are larger than rooms at the Mercure hotels and Holiday Inns. Super breakfast on the top floor. Staff helpful. All in all recommendable.
