Location was great, easy to reach Airlie but an oasis away from all the crowds. Bruce was an exceptional host-warm, inviting and nothing too great an ask. Studio was lovely, eclectic with everything that you need.

Concept of a guest house like stay at a beautiful and serene place where you feel like being at home away from home is an experience that the host Mick aims the guests to have. This is a truly exceptional place with very limited rooms in a lush green environment with Cockatoos meeting you at breakfast. Mick prepares asetup for a decent breakfast that includes cakes/muffins prepared by Mick or his wife Megan. Guests can help themselves to this breakfast from the kitchen area. We spent a day there doing nothing but relaxing in this guest house environment and talking to Mick as well as Amy & Brett who help out Mick. Overall a very different experience than regular hotels and bnb apartments. Mick is a a very nice person to talk to.

We felt like being home instantly - Melanie is really nice and the check in was more than uncomplicated. there’s is everything you need and more :) it’s quiet and really nicely decorated. we wish we could have stayed longer

I loved my stay here, it was very last minute as my Whitsundays trip got cancelled and Pete wasn’t really taking bookings due to incoming cyclone however he couldn’t have been more helpful or more welcoming! You need a car or taxi to get to the property as it is up a steep hill but you are rewarded with amazing views! My room was lovely and it had a balcony with great views. THe indoor pool also looks out over Airlie marina and is just stunning. Wish I could have stayed longer, thank you Pete for being so kind!

The accommodation was exceptional, very private and very peaceful. The views were spectacular, we enjoyed our stay at haven view very much, we swam in the pool a few times while we were there pool was clean and just the right temp. Location was just outside of the hustle and bustle of airlie beach so at night you could literally hear a pin drop it was that quiet. Natalie and Terry were very helpful with anything that we needed.
