We loved everything about this place!!!! The owner was extremely nice and friendly and made sure we have a great experience! Its in the middle of the jungle and you can spot many animals there. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is super clean and he has the cutest cat ever! The included breakfast was amazing and probably the best one we had since we are travelling. Highly recommend staying there even longer theres so much to do in this area.

We really enjoyed our stay a lot. We had a beautiful little house near the river, with a hot shower and a comfortable bed, also an extra living room and a little kitchen. Could see monkeys and sloths, agutis and a lot of other different wildlife from our terrace. Free water, laundry and kayaks. Everything was really clean and only 5 min walk to the beach. Helped us with everything we needed. A tuktuk to puerto viejo takes about 10 mins. Everyone was really friendly we would def come again.

The host is very kind and he tries to provide solutions. The location of the house is very good and the place feels safe. The Internet connection was great. The place was very clean and they even had a small space for BBQ.

Nice and clean stay in the middle of the jungle. You’ll be sharing the house with host Alexandra – incredibly welcoming – cuddle-cat Michael, and possibly another guest. The kitchen is fully equipped with a wide range of utensils, and the bedrooms have fans. One of the highlights is the bathroom, which is surrounded by glass, offering views of the lush greenery (with complete privacy, of course). The house is about a 15–20 minute bike ride from Puerto Viejo – walking isn’t really an option, but a tuk-tuk (around 4000 CRC) is! Drinking water is available. Board games (including Rummikub) are available too.

Situated just 12 km from Jaguar Rescue Center, Orgánico Punta Riel features accommodation in Cahuita with access to an open-air bath, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk.

The whole experience was amazing! The host was really nice, he made coffee for us every morning. It was nice and peaceful. The location is close to the beaches in town if u rent a bike or car. Overall great experience

Cahuita Inn is an oasis on the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. Exceptional value for money, standing out head and shoulders above anything else we found in Costa Rica in this mid range price bracket. Contemporary comfort, style, security, wonderful service, delicious food, calm atmosphere, beautiful hammock strewn palm grove right on the ocean, with waves rolling in on your doorstep. Lovely place, beautiful guesthouse with very kind and helpful hosts. Perfect location by Playa Negra. Nice garden, hammocks on the shared wrap around upper veranda. Very clean and serene. Nice touches like a shared refrigerator and coffee maker. Excellent value. Would definitely recommend and will absolutely return!
