Lovely staff, clean and very comfortable rooms. Breakfast in the form of an early choice, so when you go down everything is already waiting. Dinners delicious and large, and desserts...and desserts are a veritable heaven in the mouth. Mountain views all around - including the one from the balcony. A great base for walks in the mountains. Most importantly, a peaceful area that allows you to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are horses and alpacas next door too ;-) This was the first visit, but definitely not the last!

This guest house offers country-style rooms and free Wi-Fi internet . It lies in the rural town of Bad Feilnbach. Chiemsee Lake is a 30-minute drive away.

It is located close to the centre of the town and to the rehabilitation facility where I was visiting a friend. It’s also close to the motorway. The room was clean, breakfast really nice and service good. WiFi was stable - I needed to work while there. There are plenty of options to go for a run or a hike.

Located in Rottach-Egern, within 10 km of Bahnhof Tegernsee, Berghotel Altes Wallberghaus is an accommodation offering mountain views.

The location cannot be beat; mountains on all sides. The dining room is upscale rustic, very charming. Staff very friendly and helpful, food fresh and interesting. The most comfortable comforter on the bed that I've ever had. Loved that our room for 4 had a door for privacy for adults. Shower also great. We hiked Wallberg (bring spikes in winter), and did some sledding (we borrowed their wooden sleds). The whole weekend was cloudy at the lake but not where we were: above the clouds in the sunshine! Staff brought a nice cake for birthday, a surprise.

The location is ideally nestled in nature, with easy access to the city center. The surroundings are tranquil, offering a refreshing sense of calm. From our room, we enjoyed breathtaking views of the sunrise and the (little) snow-capped Alps. While the breakfast menu is modest, it’s perfectly satisfying. We particularly appreciated the locally sourced offerings, especially the delicious homemade yogurt.

This family-run guest house is quietly located in the village of Großholzhausen, 3 km from Raubling in the Inn Valley. It offers free internet and wonderful views of the Bavarian Alps.

Located in a lovely village. Staff really helpful. Restaurant/bar area had a live traditional band added to the atmosphere. Good food... especially breakfast.
