A lovely German family welcomed us into their home. A beautiful bedroom, with a large comfortable bed, and access to a dream bathroom. The house is set amongst woodlands near a small village. It is an easy 25 minutes by car to drive into Hamburg, where we visited Miniatur World. Parking there was $2 per hour, and it is open until midnight. Think about having a tour of the river, but keep in mind the tides or you will miss out on the best bit. Plus keep in mind; on some river cruises, the operator only speaks German.

Host was extremely sociable. We felt very much at home. The accommodation was of high quality. We had the full use of the kitchen and garden. Reppenstedt is only half an hour away from the beautiful city of Lüneburg by bicycle. Our host told us about the free shuttle bus that takes you to the Lüneburger Heide.

This guest house is a historic red-brick building in the heart of Lüneberg’s Old Town district, a 5-minute walk from St. Michaelis Abbey.

Beautiful location in old renovated house at the old city. Very charming interior, quiet and cosy. Thanks to good heating very warm also in the winter. We liked the stay very much and would gladly stay there again. Parking nearby is a big plus. Breakfast is basic but still ok. There is no staff but everything is very well organized. Nice walks to all sights
