Perfect locality - Nerja is a small city, full of pulsating life. The hostal is in the city centre BUT in a quiet part of it, a while from the famous beaches. Totally worth it. The room was really comfy, with the best bed.

We absolutely LOVED staying at Hostal Lorca, a sweet little hotel very close to the bus station in Nerja and not far from the super touristy area. We prefer staying just outside where all the other tourists stay, which is why we booked this location, but now I will always remember it because of the WONDERFUL new owners. This lovely couple bought the hostel earlier in 2023, and they are hospitality superstars who have traveled the world with their children. We brought our teen boys, and we wish we could have stayed for a whole month here. The shared kitchen is a great place to meet other travelers, and I could have spent all day on the patio with the crystal blue pool.
