This is an extraordinary property presented beautifully, with understated claims but a deeply satisfying experience. The adjacent cloister is a bonus if you have our top floor room, but the entire property has access to this beautiful and historic element. Breakfast is of a very good standard - delivered calmly and elegantly by Camille - and Noah's dad. A highlight stay in many travels through France! 10/10

The location was beautiful - high up on a hill overlooking the town of Albi - lots of room to walk around with beautiful town and country views. The facilities were excellent - large private jacuzzi in an adjacent room, very comfortable bed, comfortable well-planned bathroom including a shower. The most outstanding feature was the wonderfully warm hospitality of the proprietors Josephine and her husband and the superb breakfasts - excellent coffee, croissants, cheese, fresh bread, charcuterie, freshly-squeezed apple juice, eggs, yoghourt (I could go on) delivered to the room. The charcuterie offering for supper was excellent value - all local cheeses and meats and fruit. A wonderful experience and excellent value for money!

Antoine and Kristine are the ultimate hosts - extremely friendly, welcoming and hospitable. We had our car and parking was provided but is also free on the street. The property is well located within a 10-12 min walk from the centre, and the breakfasts provided were sensational. The room was comfortable and airconditioned, which was great as we had a couple of very hot days, and their small swimming (plunge) pool was cool refreshing after a day seeing the sites. We highly recommend L'INSTANT D'AILLEURS and will return if back visiting Albi.

Despite being near a busy road it was really quiet. Staff speaks English so don't worry about communicating. Really good price for what you get. Cats hang around but don't chase you so no issue if you have allergies.

Situated in Le Sequestre, 3.4 km from Albi Cathedral, Villa Victoria has a garden, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access.
