Coming from busy Vienna, I loved everything about La Ferme du Chauchix. It’s calm, authentic, and beautifully kept. The room was spotless, newly renovated and super cozy, where rustic charm meets modern comfort. The petit-déjeuner with homemade yogurt and confiture (rhubarb) was outstanding, a highlight! And the hosts strike the perfect balance of being warm & helpful while giving you your space, something I really appreciate. A true gem in Bretagne, about 20-30 minutes away from the most beautiful beaches, I’d happily return anytime. Also, they're very pet-friendly, our dog loved it, too :))

What a wonderful place to arrive at after a long day on the road! We enjoyed a warm welcome, and were immediately at ease at this idyllic home in the peaceful countryside. Our hosts served up a delicious evening meal at short notice from us, and the breakfast was delightful. The room was immaculately clean and we all slept very well. Next time we will come for longer! 2 km walk from the beach and resturants you can stay in sweet and kind Anitas house. You stay in her home , sharing shower and kitchen but this is not a problem since Anita makes you feel like home. Really good price and good value for money. There is a wonderful hiking path to the next little town "benic" - you can walk 12 km following the cost with dramatic wiews , and 9 km back following land and fields. Anita welcomes you and your dog for no extra charge ! And there us cute little garden with tables and chairs at the back. Free parking on the street just outside the house. From here, you can easily (by car) visit Dinard, Saint Malou, Cancale (magic oysters), and mont Saint Michele. (Aproxomatley 1 hour) I can recommend this place for a couple of nights!
