Breakfast and dinner delicious. Chantal provides homemade pate, aperitif, and homemade jams as well as delicious cheeses and fresh bread, tasty chicken, good wine. But more than this the entire place is very special. Truly unique with the most magical garden. We were in the cabin which is more 'primitif' (I have stayed before, in the house which is superb) but nonetheless charming. So glad I managed a repeat journey here.

This is a French Chambres D'hotes, which are similar to english B&B's, with this in mind, if you like staying in B&B's rather than Hotels then we would certainly recommend this one. It is set in an un-spoilt village close to Verdun (scene of major 1st world war battle between French and German troops- lots of local history)and our hosts could not have been more accommodating from the pleasant welcome to the genuine goodbye wishes. The building is a traditional French town house with polished wooden floors and although some noise travels on the stairs we had an incredibly quite and peaceful night. Our room (the blue room) was comfortable and although the en suite was basic it was spotless and the shower powerful and hot. Breakfast was very good with local produce and a great choice of teas and refills on the coffee - very welcome. Parking is easy and plentiful, just across the road next to the river.

Definitely a facility that I recommend. Everything was super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was super fresh and tasty. I'd like to go back there soon :). Perfect option for the weekend and long time.

The building is very close to the centre just a short walk to end of street and you are there . The lady owner was brilliant, very helpful. Room nice and cool with air conditioning. Toilet just outside room door and bathroom next to that . All immaculate. Even has hair shampoo soap and toothpaste. Never seen so many towels . Handy fridge just outside room . Nice communal kitchen where you can make hot drinks . Parking excellent free car park right outside front door.

Host was superb. Can't recommend highly enough. Good breakfast. Superb room, very spacious and clean. Definitely stay again in in the area . Lovely quiet village
