We were warmly welcomed by Nic, who immediately made us feel at home. He gave us tips about the town and where we could go out for dinner. The room was spotless, smelled nice, and was built to a very high standard. We stayed for one night before taking the train back home, but had we known the stay would be this good, we would gladly have stayed another night. For anyone still wondering where to stay in Hythe or the surrounding area: stop searching!

It was perfect last minute booking. The host was lovely, showed me around and brought me a nice coffee in the morning. The bed was comfortable. The room is clean and quiet and nicely decorated. I had a great night sleep.

Andy and Patti were lovely hosts. Large, quiet, very comfortable and clean bedroom and ensuite. We used their well appointed kitchen for breakfast and dinner. Large supermarket very close. We walked the 20 minutes to beautiful Canterbury.

Well I have to say, the B&B hotels are all a hit. At least I can say that for England and Scotland. This is also the case here with a nice manager who also makes a great English breakfast. The room was huge and the bathroom was almost a castle. Everything was clean. Private parking space for cars available. Easy to reach. No long search.

This is our 2nd one nighter, used as a pit stop on longer journey ( Germany- St Ives) with our 2 dog's so location very practical for us , small park 100m away , shop round the corner, little garden sitting area , quiet , amenities , coffee machine, washing machine & dryer , little fridge , you are asked for car details in advance to book your car for permit on the road parking

    A lovely room with a comfortable bed also complimentary drinks and snacks which was above and beyond other places we've stayed at. Debbie was a lovely host and the breakfast was superb. The bathroom was finished to a high standard

    Great host and the breakfast was outstanding. Being able to park in the drive was a bonus. You are left alone to get on whatever you need to do. Great to also meet Angelina,Graham and Barry ( chickens).

    I have stayed at Plumpton House several times before on work trips. The location is rural, quiet and idyllic, but just minutes from the M20, with fast access to Ashford and the international rail station. The house and rooms are big, comfortable and great value for money – in this area especially. The host family are just lovely.
