A beautiful old house decorated exquisitely. Although I was travelling solo, I was given a family room which was huge with plenty of space. Room was spotless and the view was lovely from the back window. Bed was comfy. Although the guest house is on a busy road, the rooms are out the back and you don't hear the traffic. Congratulations to the owners on such a beautiful house and furnishings. Highly recommended

My husband and I were made very welcome.. Margaret and Bruce are lovely people. Very helpful, great knowledge on places of interest to venture. The room was lovely and spacious with on suite. and a great view from the window. Breakfast was very good, choice of cereal, fresh fruit yoghurt and a full english with tea coffee and orange juice.. We also had our own sitting room where we could relax in the evening to watch TV or to read there is a large choice of books to choose from .Margaret also does holistic therapies.would highly recommend.

I spent a wonderful six nights at Rose Cottage. The hosts have a inviting home and are extremely welcoming and kind. My room was very cozy and I looked forward each time to returning to my snug abode and heavenly bed. I had to partly work during my time spent there but could not have wished for a cheerier place to spend Christmas away from home! Thank you Linda and Lynsey!

Stayed in Irvine bay several times as we visit Irvine alot. This is always my 1st choice when booking. Private secure entry system and everything you need for an overnight. Fantastic cafe right across the road called puffers always worth a visit for breakfast or lunch. Beach is a short walk along the stunning harbour and really close by to the shopping centre, railway station and plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from.
