We loved the old world charm of the large room with it’s bay windows and fireplace. The bed was very cosy and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and spacious with not just a shower but a stand alone bath tub. Extra towels were provided with bath robes and slippers. Also, extra treats provided, for example home made chocolate cake on arrival, were exceptional. Our host was fantastic and the breakfasts she provided each morning were a feast for the eyes and tastebuds. Although the street is narrow, parking was not a problem.

This isn’t a hotel - it’s a guesthouse. So you’re emailed key details which you unlock from a key safe. But it’s GREAT. Really nice touches - huge towels are something most hotels should pick up on - and very safe and secure. Right by Hastings train station and it will take you less than 5 mins to walk down to the sea. Book with total confidence. It’s like having your own apartment.

Lovely location in the hills above Hastings. Very quiet area. The house and rooms clean and nicely furnished. And with all you need. Also, the beds were perfect. The best part, IOP, was Vincent. You can only fall in love with this beautiful person who only has one goal: To make sure you have a nice time! The breakfast was top 10 we ever had in England. I hope I will find time to return to Hastings for another stay. Vincent: this was a fantastic stay!

Gerry was a great host, taking me through the ops. Gave me his personal number in case I needed anything. The room was super clean and equipped with everything you will need, including coffee, tea, biscuits. Great location to visit Hastings and its surroundings. You're right opposite the beach.

    Really nice stay in a lovely house our room had everything we needed and good to have a little fridge. Vincent was a great host and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious. Location was walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants as long as you don't mind ( we didn't) a hilly climb on the way back!
