DenmarkThis is truly the best place we’ve stayed in Scotland. If you come to Mallaig, we would recommend not taking the train back right away, but treat yourself to a stay at this cosy two-room bed and breakfast. (And book in advance). The host is super super nice and considerate, and the rooms have a beautiful view over the harbor.
The restaurant is also worth a visit. Lovely people, relaxing atmosphere - and you really feel pampered in the best way possible. It feels like the best place to be in Mallaig.
We needed a relaxing break on our trip, and this was where we got it. We were super tired when we arrived, and this place just made our trip the best one yet.
We cannot recommend the Cornerstone enough. We are definitely staying here again, when we come back.
