We loved Minster Walk Guesthouse! The location was great, very close to the town centre. The property was very cosy and welcoming, just what we were looking for. There were some lovely little extra touches, for example mini mince pies and a liquor waiting for us in our room and mulled wine in the downstairs lounge. The breakfast was brilliant, lovely to have it delivered to our room and they were very good at accomodating my husbands gluten allergy.

It wasn't just a hotel, it was a home. The whole interior was cozy and inviting. The energy is as positive as words can describe. The breakfast offered was simply delicious. In any case, we will go back when we find ourselves in York again.

The room was impecable, they left for us some tea and coffee and a sweet treat which I thought it was a nice detail. Directions and indications to enter the room and building were super easy and clear. We asked for late check out at 1 pm, it only costed us 6£ more which we thought was cheap. Bathroom fully equipped with anything you need to shower and also hand soap. The bed was super comfy and clean, the room had netflix and other services installed so that was also a nice touch. It is a bit far the city center (15 min walking) but that made it better for us because it was a very calm and quiet area but also close enough to do everything by foot. The hosts were very communicative and nice. Overall a Great experience, highly recommend!

Great room, bed and pillows were very confortable. The room itself was old but we kinda liked this. The accomodation is close to the railway (~15min) but also close to the center. You can take the bus to shorten the way, which is in front of the house. Wifi was free and had good speed, bathroom was very clean and had all the necesities, room was clean. Communication with the host was also very good. We stayed just one night but really enjoyed our stay.
