We had a very nice cosy staying. The place had everything we needed. Location perfect, very close to the beach, ferry, restaurants, everything few mins walk. Staff was very helpful, sharing recommendations and information, also cleaning room every day. Thank you very much for our great start of holiday.

The area, it's superb, not too crowded with about a dozen places to eat. There's a couple of nice walks nearby including one along the coast to the chapel of St Paul which takes about 2 hours. The water is also clear compared to some of the fine sand beaches.

I highly recommend this familly run hotel! The personnel is very kind and the rooms while they are small,they are vey clean and with excellent wifi. There is also a nice restaurant in the hotel in which we enjoyed delicious local food! The most important is that rooms and hotel have beautiful view on the Lyvian sea! The hotel is on a 2 min walking distance from one of the best beaches in Crete!Excellent value for money!We will come back for sure!

Gigilos was perfect for our stay. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, our rooms were very clean and comfortable with views of the beautiful azure blue sea. The food in Gigilos restaurant was delicious, service great and it’s perfectly positioned for coming in by ferry or through the Samaria Gorge. I’d highly recommend staying here.
