Our home away from home! Me and my friend have stayed here for a week in order to explore everything that Labuan Bajo and Flores island has to offer. And we would have never imagined that the highlight of the trip would be the homestay and all the amazing people that run it! From taking care of my friend who had an injury from a surfboard experience to taking us on sunset trips to the most amazing places and even making us food for picnic (best fried noodles I’ve had), Ellen and the team are some of the most amazing people we’ve ever met! The accommodation is not in the main touristy area but we loved that aspect because it meant we were more connected to the locals. And, it’s just a 10 minute grab bike away from town! The place is really cozy, has a nice backgarden breakfast place and also a “relaxing” spot where you can play games or watch netflix! Not to mention to lovely cats, Luna and Zoey! Would defined recommend you to book with them, such amazing and caring people!

Delicious breakfast The room was very clean and tidy, the bathroom clean too and the shower was really big The best place were to stay in labuan bajo Even though it is not in the city center, it is quite easy reaching all the places such airport and harbour (grab, scooter rent) Strongly suggested, one of the best place we found in Indonesia

The Lodge is an authentic eco experience in Flores. So be aware of it before booking that you will not find all commodities like in an hotel. The place is really peaceful and you feel completely connected with nature. I experienced a deep sleep with the smell and sound of the nature. Choose this if you want a real taste of local traditions and sustainability approach to the island. The welcoming was simply amazing. My recommendation: DO NOT MISS THE FOOD. Dinner is the best Indonesian food I ever tried. People think is overpriced 150 IDR but it takes hours to cook in that amazing kitchen with wood. Time and love is transmitted into the delicious food. The feminine energy of the food ritual it is an experience into the experience .

They were kind, clear and had special attention for our way of travelling. We are a family of backpackers. This homestay and family is fantastic! So absolutely lovely! We loved every second staying here. Mama Re and the family made us feel at home and part of the Family! Note: Know that this place is outside town. We loved that… but be sure before you book! And this a homestay not a hostel. So behave, no loud music and be quiet after 10pm … behave for the host family and the other guests. Just saying…… Enjoy this lovely homestay!
