Safe, comfortable and in the perfect location - just off the main busy road but out of the noise. My daughter was staying for a month to do her dive master training and we were greeted with such warmth and smiles we knew she would be safe there. She extended her stay for another month. Rooms are basic but clean with ensuite.

Awesome place, lovely hosts, a modern scooter was provided on arrival, as well any necessary information, must-visit places in the area etc. Delicious breakfast as well as lunch and dinner options (the hosts have their own turkeys) - we had to move on and stayed only for one night but would definitely come again

Fully recommended! Perfect location—tucked away from the noisy main street, yet just steps from the main road for easy access. Each house offers a great sense of privacy, making it feel like your own peaceful retreat. The owner is incredibly kind and speaks excellent English along with the entire team of lovely people. Friendly animals add a warm, welcoming touch to the stay. Everything is well taken care of, even mosquito repellent is in each room. Moreover there is a shortcut to the turtle point, only 3 minutes walk.

Once arrived in Bintang Tiga Bungalows we were pampered by the lovely staff (a special thanks goes to Otti - I hope I spelled the name correctly) and the charming nature of this island. The bungalows are in the north, 20 min walking from the harbour area, immersed in a beautiful garden and a few meters away from a relaxing sandy beach. The bungalow was confortable and well equipped. The rooms are also served by a bar/restaurant serving nice breakfasts and fresh natural food.

I had a truly brilliant experience at Amel house! The room was very comfortable, clean and cozy. There were many nice details, both in design and in the amenities (tea, coffee, sugar, water, earplugs, raincoat, two types of sarongs, stainless steel thermal bottle, minibar and so on). It was a five star service, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, they helped me with all my needs (from arranging bike rental and snorkeling tour, to providing me with salt at night when I discovered my take-out dinner was a little unsalted). My special love is the super cosy warm lamps and the very comfy bed. Many thanks to Amel House for my wonderful weekend!

Spotlessly clean. Comfortable. Hot shower. Air-conditioning. Excellent breakfast. Tea and coffee available on demand. Friendly, helpful, kind staff. Close to beaches on the east side for snorkelling with turtles and watching the sun rise over Mount Rinjani. Simple accommodation as expected on Gili Air, very calm, peaceful, clean rooms, tea/coffee station, nice garden - but most of all, amazing staff. The manager of this guesthouse was very very kind. My 4 year old daughter got sick and he was very kind, offering late check out etc. He also gave her a little gift before we left. A kind and relaxing place. If we hadn't already booked subsequent accommodation, I would have been happy to stay here for longer. The only thing - as always bothers me in Indonesia - is that the staff smoke in the common areas/ outside your rooms. I've become accustomed to this, but it still bothers me, particularly with a young child. But this is nothing new - it happens everywhere in Bali/Gili, it's just part of the culture. So I can't fault the accommodation for it.

The host family were welcoming, helpful with advice and interesting to talk to. The rooms were comfortable with a very nice hot shower in the adjoining bathroom. The food served was good. The location has a pleasant beach with a couple of local warungs nearby. It was also handy to the public ferry to Gili Air as suited our purpose.
