- We stayed in the upstairs room. There are only 2 rooms. - The room was very private, with great views of the local rice fields and mountains. - The bed is very comfortable , with good blackout curtains with quiet aircon with lots of opening windows for fresh air. - The bathroom and toilet were behind glass doors inside the room. Both were exceptionally clean and tidy. - We chose to have breakfast and dinner at our room - both were generous and tasty. Nyoman is a former hotel chef. - Tea and coffee were available free on request . - The pool was very refreshing after a day out with Wayan showing us the local waterfalls and nature walks. Wayan is very knowledgeable about what Munduk has to offer and is happy to answer all our questions. We enjoyed chatting with him. - We enjoyed the location within a village along with the usual village noises during the day and dawn and dusk.

Villa Mata Hari is the best place for anyone who appreciates peace and quiet. The place is extremely beautiful, clean and well taken care of. The lady of the house Lia is an awesome hostess that takes care of all your needs and is great in planning daily trips around the north of the island. She makes the place feel like home. Pool is awesome! We will definately come back if we ever visit Bali again! Our favorite place on our tour around the island.

From start to end, this is a real feel-good place. Great view from the eating area and the balconies. The food is good and cheap. I was in the large room 10 with no windows and no balcony, but that was no problem at all, as I could just step outside and enjoy the view. However, the best thing was the staff, who absolutely went out of their way to make the stay as pleasant as possible but without being in your face. They made sure the right drivers arrived at the right time and got the right fee for their services, going round to the great sights nearby. In other words, they were very concerned that I did not pay too much, which I appreciated a lot. I also got a free motorbike ride to the trailhead for the waterfalls. It really felt like home, and there is no doubt I will stay there again if I return to Munduk soon.

Amazing stay at Laras Homestay ! The rooms are new, spacious, and the view is simply amazing. It's very quiet (night and day) and the room is comfortable with a little couch, many towels and pillows and a good blanket. The food delivery option is really nice, good and pretty cheap and they give you food in a plate directly on your terrace. You can reach the trailhead for the waterfalls with a steep walk up but it's close by.

The place exceeded all our expectations! It is a fantastic and secluded location with views over local rice fields on both sides and mountains in the background. There are even some beautiful sunsets. The cabin is also almost new, and everything worked flawlessly. It was wonderful to have both an outdoor shower and an indoor bathroom. The host Ripa really deserves praise. He did everything to make us feel welcome and helped with renting a scooter, finding exciting places to visit in the area, and even the possibility of getting a massage almost right next to the cabin. You really get value for your money here, and we could easily have stayed longer than 5 nights. Both the cabin, the view, and the area are incredibly beautiful with few tourists, allowing you to get close to the local life. We hope to return another time. Thank you for the stay and an unforgettable experience!
