When I booked the homestay there was this particularly one review that caught my interest, which was that the owner Vinayak is an exceptional host, besides all the scienic surroundings of course. All my expectations were easily surpassed!!! Easily. Besides arranging small trips/hikes and asking what I wanted to do during my stay, all small things, like bringing two cups of coffee instead of one (the way I like it of course) in the morning, going with the owner on his scooter to buy paint in the local village and arranging so I could go with other guests on a day trip just with them and taking me to a tea plantation and cardamom rostery though it should have been closed and spent like 5 hours with only me, etc, made me genuinly feel as a special guest. The brother Vivek, being around for some time, was also good fun and showed me around in their lovely farm just after my arrival. All in all, this will be hard to exceed.

Near by all Location, They have own Jeep for trucking on hills, so they are guiding us to go for site seeing and very good staff/owners. they have facility of CamFire and Jungle stay also.

The beautifully renovated heritage rock house, particularly the spacious and spotless Cardamom Suite, offered a cozy retreat with plantation-themed decor and a private veranda perfect for soaking in the lush greenery and birdsong. Jobins, the owner, and caretaker provided exceptional hospitality, tailoring delicious vegetarian meals to our preferences and guiding us on a delightful plantation walk to the watchtower, showcasing cardamom, pepper, and clove cultivation. Jobins dad visited us in the morning and even gave us a Cardomom plant to take home With amenities like free Wi-Fi, a cozy campfire, a treehouse, and proximity to attractions like Ramakkalmedu Viewpoint, this tranquil haven is a must-visit for families and nature lovers seeking an authentic Kerala experience

Marvellous! Initially i booked only for 2 nights but ended up staying one more day extra after visiting this place. This Home Stay has community area in terrace with unique design and beautiful plants. This place has real Vibe! had a great time chatting with fellow travellers on their experience and travel plans. 👌 Afsal, owner of this property was super cool guy and he is great cook too. Absolutely loved the pan cakes and Coffees he made for me. I was really very comfortable here and felt like a home. I will surely visit again to Thekkady only for staying at this place. 😊

I really enjoyed my stay in this nice homestay. It is quietly located, overlooking a coffee plantation from my balcony, but everything within easy walking distance. The apartment was very clean, cozy and spacious and my host a very lovely and friendly woman. Right next door her nice sister runs a restaurant where you can eat very well. I just can recommend this wonderful place.

During a 4-week trip to India, Sopanam Heritage was my favorite place that we stayed. The hosts were extremely kind and attentive, great communicators, and helpful in so many ways. They were available to assist with transport, arrange activities, and help with logistical support for traveling. The food was delicious, and the family so kind. The perfect combination of family warmth and attentive customer service and hospitality. Highly recommended, I would love to return there one day. Thank you!!!
