The bedrooms were big and spacy. Breakfast was not officialy included in the price, but it turned out that there was coffee/tea, milk, cereals and jam. You only needed to add bread yourself. There was a refridgerator, dishes/cutleri and a table, where you could eat. The owner was extremely kind and serviceminded.

Located 6 km from Stykkishólmur, Helgafell provides a garden and free WiFi. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom.

Such a great spot by the lake and fantastic amenities in a tiny home. This was one of my favourite stats throughout my 12 day trip of Iceland and saw a great view of the Northern Lights!
