We had such a great stay at Pension Jokura. The location is excellent for exploring the city, and our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The amenities and well thought out for travelers and the atmosphere is very warm. Highly recommend!

The house was beautiful, clean and cozy especially during a February winter. Around a 5 minute walk to the nearest tram which wasn't too bad, but also pretty much right next to a grocery which was very convenient!

Wonderful experience. The landlords are so friendly and helpful. They introduced many view points and shared many great local restaurants. They even offer ride to airport. Very quiet location. Traditional Japanese style room with basic kitchen appliances. Netflix accessible. Cute dog & pet friendly.

Location was very strategic where it’s just a 3 min walk to the famous Hachiman Zaka slope, and walking distance to Hakodate ropeway station too

The owner is very kind and the room is very spacious. Affordable and clean. This surely is a nice place to stay! If you're considering to visit hakodate I think this is a really nice place to stay. Although its better if you have a car as I believe the property is situated in a small road with no public transport. Although you can always take a taxi.
