Homestays in Kushiro

I stayed in the dorm room with a single bed that is separated by a curtain from the other beds. The staff was friendly, the bed was very comfortable and I was able to sleep well. It was nice to have a small 'room' for myself. The kitchen was well equipped and there was free instant coffee and tea. The lounge area was really cozy and the news were projected onto the wall with a big projector. The lounge also smelled really nice because they sold scented candles from a store next to the guesthouse I believe. The shower and bathroom area was clean. They switch the lights off at 11 PM which was great but I wish the staff had opened and closed the door more quietly, it was a little loud and it jerked me out of my half sleep/lounging on the bed. Other than that, it was really quiet :)

Clean and comfortable, with a lot of facilities (laundry, coffee machine, etc…). Easy to go to Kushiro-Shitsugen National Park, even by bike. I would recommend with no doubt.

Owner was super friendly and helped me a lot when my luggage case broke on the day of my checkout even at cost to himself, also he has a very friendly dog
