The owners are very kind. When I walked out, the owner came after me and offered an umbrella to protect against the pouring rain. The common area is peaceful and the interior design is beautiful. The bunk beds in the dorm have curtains for privacy The hostel is located in a quiet street yet close to the station, very convenient.

There was parking at the property at ¥1000 per day. The parking lot will be dedicated to you during the entire stay. There's computer games console for kids to play, library of comics, public kitchen and laundry area to wash your clothes. The hostel is a walking distance to restaurants, malls and Donki. Our room was spacious. Fresh towels are provided but no yukata or pajamas

Love the common area. Staff was also very helpful when I had to have a packaged delivered. Thank you again for that. Bed was super comfy as well.

Close to the hells and onsens. Friendly host family. Gave lots of food and onsen recommendations (with discount coupons) which I followed and had a great time. Aircon blows both hot/cold air.

+ hotel receptionist is super cute, helpful and friendly + rooms were big, beautiful and cosy + shared bathroom, but private toilet and sink/mirror + towels for Onsen for free + everything was super clean + common kitchen was well equipped + location was very convenient, close to bus station Beppu Kitahama + convenience stores, restaurants, ATMs nearby

Our hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They let us check in an hour before the actual check-in time because they were around. Their home is beautiful and the rooms are large, and very clean. There is a free car parking space next to the property which is also a bonus. They also gave us some great restaurant recommendations.

It's much better than the rating suggests. The room is cheap, fairly large, and very comfortable, and it's very well located in the city. The only bathroom is a bit rundown, but you get tickets to go to the onsen next door every day. There's a rooftop and a kitchen. I recommend it.
