BelgiumPerfect location to explore the Suganuma, Aikonura and Gokayama. The bus from Johanna station stops 20 meter from the house, same stop to go to the villages, so you dont need a car to visit this place. Very beautifully renovated house with old elements and modern comfort. Super friendly owner. Nice tofushop, Japanese bakery and small supermarket closeby. Also very Nice to scroll around the house. Been 4 times to Japan and would absolutely recommend to stay here!

United KingdomThe absolute loveliest stay I’ve had in Japan. What a delight the hosts are - Glenda is an absolute gem and the loveliest. She used to tour around Japan as a singer! If you’re lucky enough, you can get her to sing a bit for you. Her husband is an incredibly talented chef and cooked us a huge and wonderful dinner - probably the best food I’ve had in Japan. Strong recommend!

ThailandThe accommodation location is excellent. The room has a very beautiful view. The hosts are very friendly and take good care of us. The room is clean, the bathroom is clean. I'm sorry we only stayed for one night. I still want to stay here a little longer. If we have the opportunity, we will definitely come back again.
Initially, I was worried because it was our first time driving in the snow in Japan. But the route was very convenient and not difficult to drive at all. If you're considering staying here, don't hesitate. The view is stunning, and you have to see it with your own eyes.
