Super nice place to stay in Arugam bay. Extremely nice people, great location in the middle of the town, close to the beach. Owner helps with all questions and organises all activities you wish. We took surfing lessons with Risy - was great

This was such an amazing place to stay. Location was perfect , very close to the beach & restaurants. The room was spacious , the bed very comfortable and with a mosquito net. Plus a large bathroom with hot water. The highlight of the stay was the delicious breakfast. It changed daily and over the 3 days we were there we had banana pancakes , hoppers and a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast of Dhal curry and coconut Sambal ( the best we had in Sri Lanka ) This was served with a fresh juice and coffee. Great value for money . I highly recommend bay dreams we hope to return one day soon !

The place was amazing with big spacious rooms. There was hot water and a balcony with hammock and chair. The staff was helpful with everything. They help us with taxi, scooter and surf lessons.

We had a lovely 3 week stay at Forcus. The facilities are modern and well maintained, with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom with open shower, and a beautiful outdoor area with the garden to enjoy. The staff is amazing! Kevin and the rest of the crew work tireless to make sure we have everything we need. They do roomcleaning whenever we want, and help us with several services like laundry, bike rental, tuktuk, and taxi transport. When theyre not helping us, they attend to the garden to keep it beautiful. We loved the breakfast! They offer a variation of different food. Banana pancakes was our favourite. Locations is great, if you want to be close to everything. Some noise from close bars is expected, but it didnt bother us.

Location: The location is ideal.It's situated just a few hundred meters away from the main road (Potuvil - Panama) and the beach, giving you the best of both worlds. You get easy access to all the main surf points and town amenities, but you're far enough away to enjoy complete peace and quiet. It's the perfect tranquil escape after a day in the sun. The Room & Amenities: The room was fantastic—very spacious,spotlessly clean, and designed with comfort in mind. It was equipped with all the required amenities, and everything was in great working order. It truly felt like a home away from home. Overall Experience: I can't fault this place.For the comfort, space, and serene atmosphere, it offers incredible value. I would gladly give it a perfect 10 out of 10 for the room and overall experience. It’s a gem that provides a quiet, convenient, and comfortable base for your Arugam Bay adventures. I will definitely be returning on my next trip!

Apple was a superstar, so helpful and amazing overall, gave us great advice for the area and even let us borrow a surfboard trap for attaching the surfboards to the tuktuk. Very close to everything but tucked away from the mayhem of aragum bay

We planned on staying for 3 nights, but stayed an extra night because it was such a great place! The family that owns the place really wants you to feel at home and they definitely succeed doing so! The location is perfect at the beach and they organized great surf lessons for us!

Clean room and wonderful staff. I had an injury and felt unwell during my trip, but Musa, one of the staff members, was always concerned about me. He arranged hospital visits and even prepared breakfast to suit my condition. I highly recommend this place.

Had a lovely stay at Yoga Shack for a week, it's a chilled surf, yoga community vibe. Location is great, right in the centre of town. Mike is an awesome host, attentive, accommodating, and great to hangout with. 3 yoga classes per day, and other cool activities like breathwork and ecstatic dance 🕺 Good wifi. Shared kitchen is always a win.

    Amazing place, near the beach. The rooms have AC and are spatious. It’s located on the ´main road’ nearby all restaurants and shops, yet it’s calm and not noisy. The owner is so friendly. He arranged our taxi to the next stop and he and his wife cooked for us, after that we played a card game. We had the best time in Tropicana Homestay. I would also recommend the surfing lessons, we had the best time with our teacher Rizy, who teached us properly and cared about our safety.

    A great Combination of wonderful locals and happy guests. Everyone was in good mood at this good mood place. Brian and Tariq and Santa were great hosts, helping when needed. I was sad to leave the awesome atmosphere! Will come again.
