The host and the care taker were very flexible with check in and check out times and process. Close to Gampaha town centre but not yet in the town centre so has idyllic nature to it. It is an old family home carefully converted to a guest house. Selva the care taker was kind and attentive.

A great hotel run by a lovely family. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and the location is very convenient—just a short walk from the train station and close to the airport (about a 10 minute drive). A delicious breakfast was provided, and the couple even kindly gave me a mango from the tree in front of their home. I would highly recommend this place. Picked this hotel only because it was near to the airport and had a better rating than the normal airport hotels. Felt guilty that we arrived late in the evening and flew out early in the morning - the hotel (more of a guest house) is fantastic!!! Run by a tremendously friendly and welcoming couple, it is an old house that has been in the family for 200 years and oozes with tradition. Although its geographic location is perfect for the airport and not really near anything else, it would not be too far to take a tuk tuk or car to the beach or into Colombo, and we thought that if we maybe stayed here longer it might have made a good base. Good wifi too.
