The host Kalahara is kind and helpful and treats guests as his family.Nothing is too much for him. PROPERTY: Lovely homestay surrounded by trees and lovely garden.The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and airy. All the facilities like hot water, airconditioning, water pressure etc was perfect. BREAKFAST:Our breakfast was included and it was the best we had in Srilanka.Its varied everyday and its plentiful and very tasty.(SEE PHOTOS) We had 2 dinners cooked by his wife and they were delicious and generous portions. TOURS: Host Kalhara will organize tours at reasonable rate and his driver is a very nice person. we did a tour and driver was very patient and took us around paddy fields. We had a wonderful time at Oleena's quiet and peaceful homestay. Breakfast, dinner and accommodation were great and Jeewa can take you anywhere you want at reasonable prices - be it to Sigiriya, Dambulla, Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura, an ayurvedic retreat or a spice garden. We would return any time.

What an amazing experience! We came here for 3 nights after reading all these wonderful reviews. I have travelled a lot of places, but never ever have I actually thought of coming back to a place I have been already. That was until I stayed in Visu Villa. I was very sad to leave, because everything was just perfect. Ruwan and his team did everything they could to make our stay so perfect and always with a smile on their face. We felt very welcome, had a great room, the pool was nice and clean. The food was incredible, the evenings with a nice atmosphere. We also got a private safari where we spotted many elephants for a fair price and a tour around the village and even a lift to our next destination. Free of charge. Ruwan is the best host I have ever met. You can never find a better place to stay than here. ☺️ Thanks again to the whole team and we wish you all the best!

The host family were amazing! Very kind, friendly and helpful. Room spotlessly clean. Shower always had hot water and good power. Nice balcony with birdlife. Quiet place just a few minutes walk to supermarket and food outlets. Great location for visiting the rocks, cave temple, ancient capital and safari ecopark etc. The owner can arrange tuk tuk and safari for very good price.

Everything, you reach the place and you know immediately that you will have a great time and you will chill. Hosts are amazing, helpful they guy took me to sigiriya with his tuk tuk for a very cheap price. They will help you with everything since they speak very good English and they are amazing people. The room was huge woth 3 beds, super clean, smells unbelievable and it has sockets plugs, hot water and a table to put your luggage so you don't habe to bend. AC is provided. Bathroom was also big and clean. I loved the outside area with all these wood chairs tables and sofas. The breakfast was very good and a big portion. I wish I could have stayed longer since it's a place you can relax and enjoy. Habarana is so authentic and not touristic, nice people, friendly and affordable place to stay and I definitely suggest spending a few days here.

We enjoyed staying at Heaven Habarana which opened just a few months ago. Such a lovely place. The host and his wife were really nice and caring. They prepared fresh breakfast everyday. The location is in the center of Habarana, only two minutes walk to restaurants, peoples bank, petrol station etc. Definitely worth staying there! Habarana is a perfect alternative to Sigiriya (lions rock is not far away from Habarana).
