Grand Colonial Viveka has the best view of Kurunegala lake and it's located closer to Kurunegala city centre. Hospitality is high end, food is delicious and staff is very friendly. I felt like home with these beautiful people around. Thank you Maureen (Manager) and Senerath (MD) for managing this beautiful place alive. I'll definitely comeback when I visit Srilanka next time. Very lovely family, Ravi, his wife and mother are so nice and try their absolute best to give you a perfect stay. Arrange Tuktuks, cook tasty meals and help with anything you need. It‘s in the middle of the jungle with a beautiful view. Their are no windows, so it may be loud during the night when the dogs bark, so bring along some ear plugs.
