The accomodation and safari experience we had with Kumar was amazing. First, we booked his family accomodation for one night and Kumar contacted us with safari options proposals. The price was very correct and the experience totally exceeded our expectations. Kumar picked us at 5:30 to be the first car in the park ( opens at 6) which allowed us to see many animals including elefants in the first moment of the day. He explained us a lot about the creatures we could spot and he was really a great guide spotting animals! Also appreciate his very respectful approach to the nature. We had a very nice breakfast in the park (included in the accomodation price) and the dinner was also delicious! The welcome drink juice was a very nice surprise too :) thank you again for this great experience!

Really enjoyed our too short stay here. It is a bit off the beaten track but the nature and the scenery make up for it. Our morning safari was awe inspiring. The tents are comfortable, the food excellent and the staff could not care for you any better.

Amazing place! Everything is beautiful! The bungalow is really nice and clean. We were in the middle of the jungle in a calm et relaxing space. There's also a terrasse. The personal was really nice. We only reserved one night, but we wished we could stay longer. It was the best hotel we had during our stay in Sri Lanka.

The host and friends were amazing. Helped with everything, even showed me around the lakes. I saw elephants at sunset at the lake and the birdlife in the morning was amazing. Food was great by the hosts also!

Neat, clean well maintained property. The peace & tranquility gives a true feel of being right in the middle of a jungle environment. Safari park is only a 5 min drive away. The owners were so friendly & accomodating. If you want to have a taste of most authentic home cooked Sri Lankan cuisine this is the place to stay and satisfy your taste buds. The food variety & unique taste was out of this world.

Host Lal is extremely attentive to his guests needs. Properties are right beside a lake with lots of birds to view and watch the Water Buffalo being taken for swims. Lal himself is interested in birds and wildlife so is more than happy to book you tours and accompany you if you wish. Tell him what you want to eat and he will buy fresh and cook for you. Rooms are clean and bedding too. I believe his years at sea as a Steward prepared him well for looking after his guests.
