This place was absolutely amazing, beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly quiet. Nestled deep in the jungle, it offers a true connection with nature. Exotic birds visit daily, and monkeys stop by, yet you still get the silence and serenity you might be looking for. It is so remote that you will need at least a scooter to get snacks, drinks, and other essentials. It is very private, so it has to be remote enough, but the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable, so you might not even need to leave, though you definitely should, at least to explore. Each morning, you will be treated to a lovely breakfast with an amazing cup of coffee. I have been told that the main beach access has been closed by the owner, but do not worry, the staff has a secret ace up their sleeve. Just five minutes from the villas, there is a hidden private beach where you can have the entire place to yourself. Since this place is in the middle of the jungle, it requires constant maintenance. It is more like an ongoing repair cycle—by the time you finish repairing from point A to point Z, points A to D already need fixing again. That is just the nature of it, and honestly, there is nothing the owner could have done better than keeping up with this never-ending cycle of maintenance. Now, the best part of my stay was the people. I do not even want to call them staff because they are so much more than that. I would rather call them the Host-Family because they treat you like a long-lost relative visiting from abroad. They are the true highlight of this place, even more than the villas themselves. They completely respect your privacy, but if you are open to conversations, you will quickly see how warm and hospitable they truly are. Their kindness and interactions will make your stay unforgettable. Thank you all for these truly beautiful days. I will not provide names since I do not know if they would be okay with it, but you know who you are.

We were searching for a place to stay in the Datai area and discovered a hidden villa. With only four rooms, it offers a low-density atmosphere, ensuring a remarkable sense of privacy. The rooms overlook both the ocean and the jungle, and we had access to a private beach where we were the only ones there. While you can't access the beach directly from the villa, it's just a 3-minute drive to the other side of the hotel, as the hotel layout makes direct access a bit challenging. The beach was unquestionably superior to any others in Langkawi. We were genuinely surprised, as it exceeded all our expectations. Ken and Krisya were incredibly helpful. You truly have to experience it for yourself to understand how amazing this place is.

Ocean Lodge! An amazing little oasis run by a wonderful couple, Didi & Goy. A friend told me about this B&B lodging as I was looking for a quiet and clean place to stay. I was amazed at a lot of things upon my arrival and Ocean Lodge as it met all my expectations! Firstly, it is less than 7 mins from the airport! Secondly, oh wow! Didi & Goy greeted me upon my arrival. They were so warm and welcoming, It just felt like going home and being with family. My room is big, spacious, and clean. The bathroom is clean and spotless. Overall, the room is great and also smells good. The bed is of a quality mattress and I had a good night's sleep. I love the peacefulness and quietness of this lodging. They also have a small sitting area outside of each room. Ocean Lodge has High-Speed WiFi, Ceiling Fan, AC, Water Heater, Fridge, Satellite TV, and more. It made it easy for me as I need good internet speed for my work online. and a quiet room to take my conference calls. Perfect! The Breakfast was very delicious! Special Goy's Omelette made by Goy. Didi joined me during breakfast time and gave me information about Langkawi and activities to do and places to visit. I directly booked a Mangrove Tour and that was also another amazing experience. The owners are superbly friendly and helpful but also respect your space for privacy. They have a beautiful garden with a Gazebo with 2 hammocks. I enjoyed a cool drink and did some reading on the hammock as it was such a lovely evening. This small little oasis also provides Scooter for rent if you do want to ride around Langkawi. There are also quite a few good restaurants within walking distance from the lodging so I didn't have to travel far for food. My stay was short as I was transiting over to Thailand, but I will definitely come back for a longer stay. I would highly recommend Ocean Lodge if you are looking for a quiet and serene place to stay, convenient and CLEAN!

We had the most amazing stay at Langkawi Country Lodge. Mama and Papa were the best hosts you could ever imagine, so welcoming and friendly. You really felt like you were a home away from home. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and varied each day. I know one day in the future we will return and I am already so excited. Thank you Mama and Papa.

Whether you’re heading to the beach, exploring local markets, or hiking, everything is conveniently accessible. Your experience is made even better by the owner, Mun, who is known for his warm hospitality and dedication to making your stay memorable. He goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome and relaxed. Plus, you can rent a scooter or motorbike directly from Mun for just 35 MYR/day, making it easy to explore the island at your own pace. Special recognition goes to Mabel, an international volunteer, whose kindness and excellent service add to the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the villa. For those seeking a peaceful, rejuvenating stay amidst nature, Kawah Padi Garden Villa is the perfect choice. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or a small group, this place offers everything you need for an unforgettable experience. Recommendation for Improvement: The breakfast selection could benefit from more healthy options and greater variety to better complement the otherwise outstanding experience. Highly recommended!

Lovely little place run by Fisal and his wife Tee. Villas are tastefully furnished and very well taken care of. Temak Villa is very private, quiet and peaceful. We were treated like family during our 3 day stay. Our first time to Langkawi and the first accommodation in Langkawi " Tamek Villa " was excellent. We will definitely go there again. Wishing the very best to this kind and generous family.

It's feel like you're at your own place... Very recommended for long trip vacations especially for big family members. Quite far from kuah and chenang beach,.. but it's valuable for my family which always looking for advanture.
