Excellent and exactly as described, perfect for cycling couple to base for several days to explore the area. Was fabulous to ride to Kinderdijk . The apartment was very well appointed, cosy , with a washing machine and dryer in the kitchen. I appreciated the dressing gown and coffee machine with coffee. Shops and restaurants a pleasant 5 minute walk. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Helene’s property.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, fresh, and smelled great. The beds were extremely comfortable, and although we only stayed for one night, we felt very well rested. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful – they even helped us carry our luggage. Overall, we felt very welcome and had a great experience here c:

I stayed in Southern Sun last Thursday, the 6th of February, traveling for a business trip on my way from abroad to home. The booking process was very easy. The property location was great. It is positioned just in front of the bus stop named Dillenburglaan and is 10 min from the train station in Tilburg and the center of the city. The accommodation was based in a house made in the sixties but visibly freshly renovated. Everything was new - from the furniture (like brand new) to the walls or stairs. The bathroom and the room itself were very clean and freshly made. I also liked the style of how the house and the studio were furnished - like it followed the older, Braband style, although modern and newly decorated and renovated. The owners paid tribute to the modern architectural buildings in the city of Tilburg, mostly designed, planned,d and constructed by the best architectural studios in the Netherlands. There were plenty of pictures of those projects from all around the city. The feeling was that the owners wanted to thank the architects for their work for the city. The bed was new and the mattress was fine and comfortable. The linens were clean and new and the feeling was they were luxurious. (Although they were not ironed, as the accomodators said- to save energy and the planet :-)). The shower cabin and the toilet were tiled with very ornamental designed tiles, just as to bring the guest back in time when to house was built. The room wasn't lacking daylight due to the huge windows. (my business is glass processing and I saw tripple insulated glass was built for the windows :-)). The bedroom and other spaces were very well-lit. The ambient temperature was easy controllable with a digital pad in the room, but it was already warm and cozy. There were toiletries—shampoo, conditioner, body/shower gel, toilet paper, and clean towels—one for the hand/face and one for the body—in the toilet and the shower.
