It's a very unique hotel with lots of character and ambience . It's old fashioned in a sweet way but with the modern comforts like a great , spacious walk-in shower . We really appreciated our warm , sunny ( so important in winter!) and quiet room on the 1st floor . The staff is excellent and super helpful , special thanks to the chef - we are vegan so they prepared extra foods for us at breakfast even though there was enough choice at the buffet anyway. Breakfast is certainly exceptional with plenty of choices. The garden is small but very charming .It's a comfortable walking distance to the Old Town , beautiful Dona Ana Beach and the lovely long boardwalk.

The guesthouse has a lovely garden around with hammocks that my daughter loved to go on, the rooftop pool is well heated, we weren't so lucky with the weather so on cold days the pool was a great option for both of us and my daughter absolutely loved it! The location for us was perfect, within short walking distance to all the beaches except for meia praia that we were not interested in anyway, 15 min walk to the centre. The room was big enough, well working air cond, small bathroom but good size shower, a balcony with a table and chairs, very comfortable. Breakfast is very basic but enough. We loved everything.

The host was fantastic, easily the best part of this stay. Very approachable, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was generous, and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed meeting the other guests while enjoying breakfast together at a large table. The rooms were a good size with a modern, clean bathroom. We love to walk, so for us, the location was spot on. 👌 a nice 15-20 min walk down into the city walls for shops and restaurants.
