It was the best place I lived while going on my Camino de Santiago route - super convenient location, just near the beach, near the city, there was a nice garden and possibility to wash and dry clothes, as well super friendly staff - amazing!

They were able to accommodate some special requests and were very kind in doing so. The place is fantastic, we had the top room with the terrace and there were many high-end details that made it a very pleasant stay. special mention to the washing machine, the mini fridge so we didn't have to go downstairs and the beautiful tub. We will surely stay here again if we are in Póvoa de Varzim.

I'm very grateful to the Hosts for such a warm and kind welkome. As a pilgrim I couldn't ask for more. It's a large room with big cosy bed, own bathroom and lovely breakfast in the morning. I left as a very happy Pilgrim. 😊🙏🌿

My son and I had a very nice stay at Mae Maria. The room was perfect and the breakfast too. Maria even made us some ham and cheese rolls to take with us! She embodies the spirit of the Camino 100%.

    Helena is a great host, she offered us with a nice wine and cookies which was really nice after long day on Camino. The place is clean, a little bit colder but it is common in this region. The room was smaller but okay for one night.
