Great people with a lot of stories to share. Great traditional feel while not being deprived of modern luxuriea like a good bath or a good indoors toilet. Access to good local food is a great plus to me and the hoasts willingness to share is awesome. Overall a great exprience, felt like visiting distant family memebers :) The view is great and you're well in between the Roman Galleries and the paths you hike in that area, about 10 min walk to the trail start. And if you like cats you'll love this place even more :)

The property is excellent, very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen has all necessary appliances, including a microwave and a washing machine, and the bathroom is spacious with constant hot water. I liked the owner's kindness. When we arrived, we got a free room upgrade and the room was incredible! We even got a presentation of the property and the surrounding area, called Detunata. Good breakfast, comfortable bed. Excellent services, we got breakfast prepared even if we arrived later in the morning (around 10.15). Quiet room, available fridge if you needed to use it. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean. The accomodation exceeded our expectations, and you could see that the owner is a very hardworking man. I liked the dreamlike atmosphere in the dining area, you could easily host formal evening events there. You need a car to reach the property, if possible, a 4x4, as the road is a work in progress. Hiking is really pleasant in the area, especially during summer, as you would be inside the forest a lot. Nice destination for someone who likes hiking and seeing the Detunatele (around 4 hours two-way of leisurely hiking).

The hosts are very warm and hospitable. We were spoiled with fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden that we helped to harvest and prepare together with the host. The animals are running around freely what are children loved. We had the feeling we were part of a Romanian family.
