Such friendly people. They don't speak much English, but we were able to figure it out using hands, feet and Google Translate. The rooms are absolutely amazing, the hotel seems brand new, the food is great (both breakfast as dinner). Location wise a bit further away from some of the 'amenities' of Breb but close to the hiking routes.

It is a typical Romanian holiday place, a room with a bathroom and a sala. The room was very nicely decorated, in a typical wooden house at the cul-de-sac. The property has a nice green garden, outside seats, it is quiet and the owners are very friendly. Both the room and bathroom are well arranged and very comfortable. The water is hot, the room is very clean, there's a small table inside and a fridge in the corridor. The sala is spacious, there are dishes and flatware (not 100% sure if guests are allowed to borrow them directly, sorry if we shouldn't have 😅), coffee machine, kettle, and tea. The town itself is really nice and the people are super friendly even for Romanian high standards. The church in the village is one of the nicest we have seen and the keeper is very happy to tell You all the history of the place. It has effective heating and I think it could be great to visit in winter with snow. Very much recommended.

Very nice place to stay in the middle of Maramures (close to ski slopes of Cavnic or to cultural Breb). The warmth of local people, the welcoming like you are in the family is something to consider this place. Oh, and the trout! :) really tasty and clean ! If you can’t stay, it is worth at least to come and eat!
